FLIGHT ATTENDANT

Pre-Employment Requirements
Basic Criteria
- Aged between 20-30 years (without prior cabin crew experience)
- Minimum height – Female 160cms , Male 170cms
- Good eyesight without glasses (contact lenses are permitted)
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Pleasant personality
- Experience in customer service industry preferred
- Valid and unrestricted passport eligible for residency in UAE & unrestricted passport eligibility for all the destinations of the company
- Non- smoking
Medical/Dental
All candidates should be medically fully fit. If an offer of employment is made then a full medical/dental examination and full vaccinations should be carried out in your country of residence (forms will be provided) at your own cost. A further detailed medical examination will be carried out in each of the countries of destination.
Employment Guidelines
Base
The cabin crew are based in the capital cities of each state, under the sponsorship of the airline company. Further details about the GGC area can be found in attached information.
Pay Scales
Cabin crew pay scales are below based on monthly salaries –

In addition, each cabin crew will receive Flying Pay at the rate of AED 210 per Duty Day on completion of the basic training when on the Duty Roster. These allowances are rising as the route network expands.
During the initial training and the probationary period for 6 months, your basic salary will be AED 2,500 per month.
All salary and allowances in paid tax-free in the GGC area in local currency.

Employment Contract
The cabin crew are employed on open-ended employment contracts with a six-month probationary period. One month's notice period is required from the company or the employee. The contract is signed on an initial basis of 2 years.
Uniform/Grooming
You will be provided with a free uniform, which may be dry-cleaned free of charge.
The grooming standards are high with regular advice and information available on grooming needs.
Rostering
Monthly rosters are provided using a computerised ‘fair share' rostering system that ensures a fair allocation of trips and an average of 8 days off per month over a quarterly period.
Roster requests are accepted and will be allocated where possible and one roster swap per person per month is also accepted.
Leave/Leave Travel
30 calendar days leave is available each year and one free leave ticket is provided per year.
Accommodation
Shared free accommodation is provided in fully furnished, air-conditioned apartments, including utilities. Two/three colleagues (same gender) share a two/three bedroom apartment and each person has their own bedroom. Kitchen and living areas are shared. Two people may have to share a bathroom in some three-bedroom apartments and the furnishings in most apartments are brand new. Some apartment blocks have own leisure facilities.
All accommodation has security guards during the evening and night. Male visitors are not permitted in female crew buildings between 2200 and 0600 to preserve privacy.
Insurance – Personal Belongings
There is no liability for lost/stolen personal items from apartments or overseas on trips. It is advisable for you to take out insurance for personal items.
Transport
Free transport between airport and apartment and hotels overseas is provided.
Layovers
High quality 4 star hotel accommodation overseas and free transport between airport and hotel is provided.

Initial Training
After employment you will have an intensive 6 weeks training programme on all aircraft types. This will include safety and emergency training, customer service, grooming and first aid.
Medical Coverage
You are covered through International worldwide company for all medical conditions, except optical. AED 2,000 per year reimbursable on receipt represent your actual dental claims.
Concessionary Travel
Concessionary travel facilities are available to you after six months employment with us, as follows -
- Any amount of 90% reduced ‘subject to load' tickets per year.
- Any amount of 50% reduced ‘firm' tickets per year.
A variety of concessionary travel agreements also exist with many other airlines.
End of Service Benefit Scheme
You will be entitled to receive a non-contributory End of Service Benefit, on the basis of 3 weeks basic salary for each year of service, after 3 years of continuous service with the company.
